
Collard Greens Recipe
This Collard Greens recipe requires minimal ingredients and is easy to make. While collard greens are popular in the south, it can be enjoyed with most meat dishes.

Ingredients:
2.5 lb. collard greens
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
1. Remove and discard stems and center ribs of collard greens
2. Cut leaves into 1-inch pieces.
3. In a boiling pot of water, cook collard greens for 15-minutes.
4. Once done, press out excess liquid in collard greens.
5. Melt butter and heat oil in a heavy skillet over moderate heat.
6. Stir in garlic, collard greens, salt and pepper; stirring until heated through (about 5-minutes.)
7. Once done, drizzle collard green with lemon juice and toss well.
