Chex Mix Recipe

Chex Mix is the ultimate snack to have on hand for the holidays. It is a Christmas fixture in our household, makes for great gifts and the perfect snack between holiday meals. Enjoy this Chex Mix recipe!

Ingredients:

1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup pretzels
1 cup Cheeze-its
3 cups Corn Chex cereal
3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1.5 teaspoons Tony Chachere’s seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
2. Combine nuts, pretzels, Cheeze-its, cereals in a large bowl.
3. Melt butter then add Worcestershire sauce; and slowly add to the large bowl (stirring it in as you add it.)
4. Combine salt, garlic powder and onion powder in a small bowl and slowly sprinkle on top of mixture as you stir to evenly coat.
5. Bake for 40-minutes, stirring every 13-minutes. (Depending on your oven it might need a little extra time 5-10 minutes.)
6. Spread on a paper towels to cool, then store!
