Instant Pot Pinto Beans Recipe
Our Instant Pot Pinto Beans Recipe uses the non-soak method and makes for a great side dish. There is minimal prep time, and the results are a delicious accompaniment to your entree! (The total cooking time is roughly 2 hours since the pot has to heat up and you are letting the pressure to release naturally).

Ingredients:
2 pounds dried pinto beans
6 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
3 teaspoons Kosher salt
1 teaspoon Mexican oregano
1 lime juiced
Queso fresco, optional
Chopped white onion, optional
Directions:
1. In the Instant Pot, place beans and garlic.
2. Fill the pot 2/3rds full with water.
3. Lock the lid into place and pressure cook on high for 45-minutes.
4. When cooking is complete allow the pressure to release naturally.
5. Season the beans with salt, oregano and lime juice.
6. Serve in a bowl with the additional ingredients, the beans go great with Pico de Gallo, salsas or guacamole!
