Ingredients:
Flour
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
3. Evenly spread flour on baking sheet.
4. Put flour in the oven and stir every 10-minutes. It’s easiest to push the sides to the middle and then to spread back out when you stir. This will ensure that you are evenly mixing the flour to prevent it from burning.
5. Cook for 50-minutes depending on the color. You want the roux to look like milk chocolate.
6. Also, in the last 15-20 minutes, use your nose to make sure that the roux is not burning. If it begins to burn, you can stir every 5-minutes.
