
Sausage and Sauerkraut Recipe
Our Sausage and Sauerkraut recipe is versatile enough to be a side dish, but can also double as an entree. It’s an easy recipe that combines smoked sausage, red potatoes and sauerkraut.

Ingredients:
6 medium red potatoes, cubed
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 small onion, halved and sliced
1 pound smoked sausage, cut into 1/4″ pieces
1 package (16 ounces) sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the potatoes in oil for 5-6 minutes or until lightly browned.
2. Stir in onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes or until tender.
3. Add the sausage, sauerkraut and pepper.
4. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
