Soy Basted Pork Chops Recipe

This Soy Basted Pork Chops recipe produces tasty grilled meat. The pork pairs well with the soy, and the cilantro and jalapeno add a nice touch!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
4 tablespoons brown sugar
4 1/2″ thick bone in pork chops
Kosher salt
Cilantro
Jalapeno

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar and brown sugar.
2. Prick pork chops on both sides with a fork and place in a large freezer bag.
3. Pour in 3/4 of the marinade and refrigerate pork for 6-24 hours.
4. Refrigerate remaining marinade.
5. Before grilling, season pork chops with salt.
6. Grill over direct medium heat (350-450 F) for 6-8 minutes for medium.
7. Baste pork chops with remaining marinade while griling.
8. Let meat rest and top with cilantro and jalapeno.
