Most Mediterranean recipes use the following types of ingredients- Feta cheese, grape leaves, eggplant, olives, olive oil, rice grains (Bulgur- Dried Crack Whole Wheat), thyme, mint, dill, beans, meats (lamb and goat), fresh seafood and fruit (Pomegranate). The Mediterranean cuisine is quite healthy since it is centered around consuming fresh, mostly plant-based foods.
