Our Sautéed Red Cabbage Recipe is an extremely dish to cook with very few ingredients. The cabbage goes great as a side dish or even over rice.

Ingredients:

1 head red cabbage, sliced thin
1/4 cup olive oil
3/4 teaspoon salt + more to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste


Directions:

1. Bring a large pan to medium high heat and add olive oil, cabbage, salt, and pepper.
2. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 50 minutes (for super soft cabbage), stirring occasionally so that nothing sticks or burns to the pan.
3. Cook for 20 minutes for medium soft cabbage.
