Slow Cooker Guinness Beef Stew Recipe

This Slow Cooker Guinness Beef Stew recipe produces a hearty and flavorful Irish beef stew. It’s the perfect dish for St. Patrick’s Day, or for a cold winters’ day. There is some prep work that needs to be done, so make sure you set aside 15-20 minutes for prep. The dish can also be served purely as a stew or over rice (which I prefer.)

Rhone

This Slow Cooker Guinness Beef Stew recipe is a nice hearty stew that combines slow cooked beef with vegetables. It is not overpowering but hearty, and would compliment a Rhone style wine. The Rhone wines are not robust, which compliments this dish well. Follow the link to our wine review site to find our favorite Rhone wines-LetsHaveWine.com
