
BLT Salad Recipe
Our BLT Salad recipe is a take on the classic BLT sandwich. We give this salad some zing using lemon zest and fresh dill. The dill ranch dressing really makes this salad pop!

Ingredients:
6 slices bacon, finely chopped
1 cup panko
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup chopped dill
1 large head Romaine lettuce
1-pound tomatoes, quartered
2 3×2″ strips lemon zest, thinly sliced
Dill Ranch Dressing (Get the recipe here)
Directions:
1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until it crisps (6-8 minutes.)
2. Keep bacon in the pan and spoon out all but 2 tablespoons of grease into a small bowl.
3. Add panko and cook for 2-minutes, stirring often. If breadcrumbs look dry, add 1 tablespoon of grease back to pan. Panko should be golden and crisp.
4. Remove from heat and add the dill. Toss to combine.
5. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Transfer bacon and breadcrumb mixture to a bowl.
7. To assemble, arrange 1/3 of the lettuce on a large plate.
8. Add 1/3 of the tomatoes, drizzle with dressing and top with some of the breadcrumbs.
9. Repeat the layers two more times.
10. Top salad with some extra breadcrumbs and lemon zest.
