White Table Wine
The Fifteen Bean Soup recipe is a little more difficult to pair a wine with. You could go with a light red wine, but a chilled white wine can offset the temperature of the soup. Since it’s more of a ‘downhome dish’, I would suggest a blended white wine. Typically white table wines are not going to be sweet, nor will they be heavily oaked. I feel that the sausage in the dish would not pair with an oaky white, so a blended white wine seems like the ideal fit.
