
Shishito Peppers Recipe
Shishito peppers are mildly spicy peppers from East Asia. Our Shishito Peppers recipe combines soy sauce, sesame and a hint of lime. This recipe can be used as an appetizer or a side dish.

Ingredients:
2 cups fresh shishito peppers
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 lime, juiced
Sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Add 2 teaspoons of oil to a frying pan with the shishito peppers.
2. Stir the peppers in the oil, so that they are coated.
3. Sauté peppers over medium heat, stirring occasionally. You want the peppers to blister, but not to burn (10-minutes).
4. Once done, turn off the heat and add soy sauce. Quickly stir so that they soy sauce doesn’t burn and the peppers are coated.
5. Add lime juice and stir quickly to coat.
6. Top with sesame seeds and serve.
